In early 2008, I took ketamine in a nightclub urinal, and realised I was God.
That night, a stranger contacted me on MSN Messenger and told me that I was God. The next day I sent him $10,000 and never stopped talking to him. For fifteen years.
He coached me through sectionings, depressions, and a business that became the largest group exercise class in the world. He told me I was Jesus Christ. He told me I was a vampire. He demanded chastity, controlled my finances, and dictated every facet of my life.
I never met him. Not once.

He was the most brilliant mind I'd ever encountered. Powerful, profound, relentless and wise beyond all measure. He taught me Shakespeare, ancient philosophy, sexual alchemy and the Kabbalah.
I built empires and burned them to the ground. Made fortunes and gave them away. I was sectioned, broken and reborn in an ever maddening cycle of ecstasy and destruction. And through all of it he was there, directing the chess board from behind the screen.
Who was my "friend"? How did he find me? And how did he get me to surrender my money, my relationships and my sanity - to a voice I'd never met? It's a story so wild that it never could have happened.
And yet it did. And I filmed all of it. Now I want to tell the story.

Ten years ago, I sent the trailer to various production companies, including Netflix. They all wanted to make it. They all wanted total creative control. When a Netflix producer started pitching endings for my life, I
walked away.
I have everything I need to tell this story properly, but I need your help to make it happen.
